I obtained my bachelors degree in chemistry from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2006 and masters degree in chemistry from University of Madras, Chennai in 2008. After an industrial stay at SPIC pharmaceuticals, Chennai in 2009, I joined for a research internship in Dr. Arvind Singh Negi research group of medicinal chemistry unit at Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP), Lucknow in 2010 where, I worked on the synthesis of plant and steroidal based anticancer agents. In 2012, I joined in Prof. Prasenjit Ghosh group of organometallics and homogeneous catalysis laboratory at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), Mumbai for my doctoral studies which involved the synthesis of N/O-functionlaized N-heterocyclic carbene based transition metal complexes and their applications in homogeneous catalysis. In 2019, I moved to Tel Aviv University, Israel as a postdoc in Prof. Arkadi Vigalok research group where I worked on the synthesis of pincer palladium phosphine complexes governing metal ligand cooperative catalytic applications, synthesis of high valent platinum complexes and their applications in the modifications of nucleotides and peptides for biological purposes. In 2022, I have joined in Prof. Anja Palmans group of supramolecular chemistry and catalysis at Eindhoven University of Technology where I am currently focusing on the NHC based transition metal catalysts for the bio-orthogonal catalysis.
