I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. During my master’s program, I joined the group of Bert Meijer and Anja Palmans, where I investigated the folding of synthetic polymers in water. In addition, I performed an internship in the group of Thomas Hermans at the Institut de Science et d’Ingénierie Supramoléculaires, where I studied the self-assembly of perylene bisimide derivatives in aqueous solution. In April 2017, I started as a PhD student in the group of Bert Meijer and Anja Palmans. In general, the aim of my research is to gain understanding on supramolecular copolymerisation by using a combination of theory and experiments.
